The 2024 Denver Regional Council of Governments awards celebration will highlight the efforts and achievements that make the Denver region a great place to live, work and play. 

The Wednesday, August 28, celebration will honor winners of the Metro Vision Awards, the Distinguished Service Awards, the Way to Go Awards and the John V. Christensen Memorial Award.

Sponsorships: The celebration is possible thanks to the generosity of event sponsors.

Venue: Seawell Ballroom at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts is located in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, on the northwest corner of the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Look for the marquee by the box office to enter and enjoy social hour in the Lower and Crescent lobbies from 6-7 p.m. The program will begin in the Seawell Ballroom on the second floor at 7 p.m. 

Take transit: With downtown Denver construction, the best way to get to the venue may change between now and August 28. Visit the Regional Transportation District's trip planner and use "DRCOG 2024 Awards Celebration" as your destination for up-to-date directions.

Bike parking: While there are no designated bike racks on campus, some are located nearby on Champa Street, 14th Street and Arapahoe Street.

Parking: Parking entrance is located on 13th and Arapahoe streets. Learn more at the Denver Performing Arts Complex website.

Attire: There's no dress code, but guests typically wear everything from business casual to formalwear. See photos from the 2023 awards celebration.
